2. What is a heat pump?
A heat pump is a feature added to a conventional air conditioner that can also provide heat when needed. In summer, the air conditioner absorbs heat from the dwelling and expels it outside. In winter, a heat pump will extract heat from the outside unit and circulates it inside the dwelling. A heat pump can use 30 to 60 percent less energy to supply the same heat when compared to an electric furnace with a resistance-heating element.

3. How does a ductless air conditioning system work?
A ductless air conditioner, also called a mini-split system, has two major components: a unit mounted on an inside wall that delivers cool air to the room and a condenser unit mounted on the outside of the dwelling. The ductless system is easy to install because there is only need of a 3 inch hole to be drilled through the wall, which connects the refrigeration lines to the outside unit. There are also electrical and condensation (water) drainage lines running through this outlet as well.
Tili’s ductless system also has a thermostat, which maintains good temperature control and will keep the room at a constant, comfortable temperature instead of blasting on and off. Not only are Tili’s ductless systems very quiet, they also have an automatic airflow design that you can adjust with a remote control. You can set the airflow in different sweeping directions as well as how strong you want the flow.
In addition, unlike a window air conditioner, you don't have to move a mini-spilt system in and out of the window as the seasons change. You also have much more security because you don’t have the “open window” invitation for an intruder, which makes it much easier to install an efficient alarm system as well.

5. What is a portable air-conditioner?
Portable air-conditioners were developed to provide cooling when a window unit or other types of A/Cs are not suitable. They can also be used to supply extra cooling to temperature sensitive areas during extreme weather conditions.
Portables are very practical can set up very easily with minimum effort. Usually, a plastic panel is placed in a window and then the window is closed to seal it. This frame is only 6 inches wide making it safe from intruders. Then, the exhaust hose is hooked up from the air conditioner to the window frame and then the unit is ready for use.
Another benefit with a portable you can move it around your home. For example, you can watch TV with it in the den, then take it to bed with you at night.

6. Why choose a Tili portable air-conditioner?
Putting Tili’s quality aside, we also have superior design characteristics. In traditional air conditioner designs, condensate water collects in a tank, which must be dumped periodically. Tili's advanced design, however, will continuously burn off this troublesome condensate through the exhaust system, which is vented out through the window vent. This process eliminates the hassle of periodically dumping a collection tank.
Tili also has one of the best warranties in the business with a one-year on labor and parts, a five-year compressor warranty.
